Epson Tour player Betsy Kelly, with the help of the GolfForever Training System, has recently put her health and fitness back at the top of her priority list with a determination to climb the ranks of professional golf. A native of Minnesota, Betsy still spends summers at home, practicing out of TPC Twin Cities. During the cold winter months, she escapes to Arizona and trains out of the Kierland Golf Club in Scottsdale.
Graduating in 2014, Kelly was a mainstay in the Colorado State Women’s Golf lineup. Achieving a career-best runner-up finish at the 2011 Mountain West Conference Championship as a freshman, Betsy also went on to record a 75.33 low-season average as a sophomore as well as 3 sub-70 rounds in her career. Perhaps the only place where she excelled more than on the golf course was in the classroom. A three-time Earner of the Mountain West Scholar-Athlete Award, the highest academic honor bestowed by the conference, she also notched four consecutive Mountain West Academic All-Conference honors.
After battling health issues beginning in 2019, Betsy has since re-dedicated herself to doing everything in her power to become the strongest, healthiest, most capable golfer she possibly can be. She enthusiastically attributes her work with the GolfForever Training System as the foundation for her recent transformation. The portability of the system paired with the dynamic nature of the workouts are the perfect combination for the nomadic life style of a mini-tour professional. “It’s a full-body workout you can do literally anywhere, which is amazing! The workouts are tough, too. Some of the golf-specific fundamentals have really helped me with my swing,” Kelly said.
Besty also admitted her interest in chiropractic care and spinal health has been piqued since beginning her involvement with GolfForever, which may be the reason she named Dr. Troy Van Biezen her favorite trainer on the app. “His resume says it all. He’s a top trainer to PGA Tour players and he knows the body and how it works very well. I like the fundamentals workout he does with Scottie Scheffler; I do it almost every day as a warmup.”
We’re proud to play such a pivotal role in your development, Betsy. We can’t wait to see what you accomplish on tour and in life!
