GolfForever Team Spotlight: Meet Amanda Pickering

Get to Know Team GolfForever!

Meet Amanda Pickering, Customer Success Representative

1. You became a part of the GolfForever team in 2021. Can you share a bit about your professional journey, how it led you to GolfForever, and what you do for GolfForever?

In 2021, I heard about GolfForever and explored their programs. I fell in love with their mission and what they had to offer. I started as a part-time Customer Success Representative, covering weekends and filling in for another team member. After two years in that role, I transitioned to full-time in 2023. With a background in medical and physical therapy offices and a passion for helping people, the move was a natural fit.

2. What drew you to work for the team?

What initially drew me to the team was their mission—helping people do what they love without pain. After trying my first few workouts in the program, I knew what they were offering was different. Their focus on form and injury prevention was unlike any other fitness program I had tried before.

The decision to come on full-time was life-changing, and I’ll forever be grateful for the opportunity. It’s the positive, health-minded work environment, the support of a team that extends far beyond the workplace, and the chance to work alongside brilliant individuals toward a shared goal. Being part of this team has had an incredible impact on my life.

3. What’s the most common question you get from members, and how do you help solve it?

One of the most common questions I get is, “Do I need the Swing Trainer to use the app?” or vice versa. I love this question because it gives me a chance to learn more about our customers’ goals while highlighting what we offer. The Swing Trainer is a fantastic tool, but the GolfForever Program and app provide the structured guidance needed to help users reach their goals. They complement each other, and I always recommend using both when possible. I walk customers through how the program works and encourage them to try our 30-day free trial—because once they experience it firsthand, they’ll see the benefits.

4. What do you find most rewarding about your role?

The most rewarding part of my role is being the first point of contact for our customers. I love helping resolve their issues, guiding them in the right direction, and hearing about the positive impact GolfForever has had on their lives. The success stories and positive feedback make it all worthwhile—whether it’s improving their swing, returning to the sport they love after an injury, or a grandfather being able to play golf with his grandson again. That’s what it’s all about.

5. Can you tell us about any exciting innovations or initiatives that you’re particularly proud of here at GolfForever or in your previous work?

One of the things I love doing is tracking the feedback and requests we receive from our customers. This allows me to share insights with the team so we can continuously improve. If you’ve taken the time to provide feedback, please know, we hear you!

6. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Any hobbies or passions?

Outside of work, my son keeps me busy! We’re always up for an adventure—whether it’s hiking, camping, exploring new places, or getting out on the water. Family is my top priority. And of course, there’s Boy Scouts and sports, both of which I’ve been deeply involved in as a leader and coach.

7. You feel sports can build confidence, teamwork, and respect. Can you share any personal experiences or examples? And, how do these values show up in your daily work at GolfForever?"

I believe sports help build confidence, teamwork, and respect. That’s one of the reasons I got my son involved in sports at an early age. I played soccer myself, and the mantra I carried with me—and now preach to my players—is, “We win as a team and lose as a team.” That same mindset carries into my work at GolfForever because we are a team, all working toward the same goal. I work hard and help wherever I can because I want to see everyone here win.

8. How do you use the GolfForever Training System in your daily life and movement practice?

The GolfForever Training System has been a game-changer for me. I have Lupus, an autoimmune disease that causes pain and inflammation in my joints, which led me to become sedentary for quite some time. GolfForever allows me to train in a way that doesn’t aggravate my joints, giving me an effective, low-impact workout. That’s one of the best things about the program—the assessment customizes your training based on your individual needs!

9. Do you have a go-to GolfForever workout or warmup?

The Core Workouts are my favorite. I often turn to Core Endurance 1 w/ Swing Trainer with Dr. Jeremy James. I also like to check in with our Content & Education Manager, Blaire Brown, and make sure I’m keeping up with my form with form & alignment with a club.

10. What is your GolfForever move?

My move is the rotation with a press hold using the Swing Trainer.

11. Do you have a favorite sport to watch and/or play?

I love watching all sports, but my favorite has to be soccer. It’s also my favorite sport to play!

12. What is your favorite snack?

Kettlecorn, salty and sweet!
