After earning his PGA TOUR card in 2022 with a 7th place finish at The Rocket Mortgage Classic at the age of 19, Kim quickly burst onto the scene with a 5-stroke win at The Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield CC in Greensboro, North Carolina. 

After his breakout summer, Kim qualified for the 2022 International Presidents Cup Team. 

In October 2022, Kim claimed his second victory at The Shriners Children Open in Las Vegas. He became the second youngest player to win twice on the PGA TOUR, and the first player since Tiger Woods in 1996 to win twice before the age of 21. 

In 2023, Kim defended his title at The Shriners Children Open with a 1-stroke victory, claiming his third victory on TOUR.
